Meet Ms. Penny

Teacher, Founder & the Heart Behind It All

I am the founder and teacher behind C. Penny’s English House. I hold a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Cyprus and have several years of teaching experience across both private schools and private English institutes.

Throughout my teaching journey, I have had the opportunity to work with students of different ages, levels and learning needs. These experiences have shaped the teacher I am today and strengthened my belief that successful learning goes beyond textbooks, grammar and exams.

I believe in combining high-quality English education with creativity, communication and meaningful learning experiences. My aim is for every student to make strong academic progress while developing the confidence to use English naturally and without fear of making mistakes.

C. Penny’s English House was created from that vision, to offer children a place where they receive the educational standards they deserve, while always feeling supported, encouraged and at home.

Our Philosophy

At C. Penny’s English House, we believe that children learn best when they feel happy, safe, confident and at home. Our goal is to create a warm and welcoming environment where every child feels comfortable to participate, make mistakes, ask questions and simply be themselves.

More Than Just English

For us, English is more than a school subject — it’s something children should experience, enjoy and use. That’s why our lessons go beyond books and exercises. Through speaking, games, projects, role-play and real-life experiences, children learn to use English naturally and with confidence.

Learning Through Experience

We believe that some of the best learning happens when children are so engaged that they don’t even realise they’re learning. Our lessons combine meaningful learning with creativity, interaction and fun, giving children opportunities to practise English in ways that feel real and memorable.

Confidence Comes First

Every child learns differently and at their own pace. We encourage our students to speak without being afraid of making mistakes, celebrate their progress and become more independent learners. Because confidence in the classroom eventually becomes confidence outside of it too.

Above all, we want our students to associate learning English with positive experiences, happy memories and a sense of belonging. We want them to walk through our doors excited to learn, see their friends and discover what we’re doing next.
